We are delighted to announce the upcoming Sheffield Stewardship Skills Scheme. The Stewardship Skills Scheme is free to attend and run for one day a week for a 6-month period. Round 8 will likely start in June/July 2026.

Sheffield Stewardship Skills Scheme
The Stewardship Skills Scheme's are free training programmes specifically designed to prepare you for a career in the environmental sector, equipping you with essential skills in sustainability, habitat management, and river stewardship.
The scheme involves visiting and working with local groups to learn about the ongoing work in the local area and carry out practical enhancement works along our rivers.
Round 8 includes free training: LANTRA brushcutter ticket, First aid training, Water Safety Training and a Level 2 Award in Practical Conservation Skills.
