Our free training schemes
Our Stewardship Skills Schemes provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the environmental sector. These free, 6-month (one day per week) training courses are specifically designed to help you prepare for a career in the environmental sector, helping you build essential skills in sustainability, habitat management, and river stewardship.
Participants engage with a range of activities:

Litter and river clearance

Funded through local partnerships with SYMCA, Adult Skills Fund and Pathways to Work schemes, the program reflects our commitment to career accessibility in the environmental and conservation sector. To be eligible for the programme you must:

Not currently be employed, in education, training or economically active.
