What are your Career Aspirations for the future?
I want to continue to progress in my role with Riverlution and the River Stewardship Company.
Why are you passionate about the Green/Blue Environmental Sector?
I am passionate about working in a geography related sector and generally love hiking, camping and being outdoors, as it really supports my health and well being.
What are you looking forward to learning the most as part of this Apprenticeship?
Getting stuck into asset management and vegetation clearance. I really value working with volunteers in an outdoor setting and I want to progress my environmental knowledge as well.
What was your skills and employment pathway before undertaking your Riverlution Apprenticeship?
I studied Geography at A Level and really enjoy anything Geo related! I worked as a Creative Media Assistant before taking time out to travel to New Zealand for a year and a half working in hostels, restaurants and a campsite. This inspired me on my return home to the UK, to opt for a career in outdoor and environmental work.
